Franklin Maury "Frank" Shuler, came to Jones & Seth in April of 1993. He immediately undertook family court litigation where he thrived as a trial lawyer. Even so, all along his heart was in real estate transactions and small businesses. In January of 2000, he left the successful family law practice he had built and took over the budding real estate department. Since then, his administrative excellence and diplomacy have complemented his legal expertise to make his real estate and small business practice one of the largest in the region.

Frank is the managing partner of Jones, Seth, Shuler & Killen, LLP, in Sumter, South Carolina, where his transactional law practice focuses on residential real estate closings, commercial real estate closings, business entity formation and business law transactions. He and his dedicated staff assist clients in all areas of real estate and business law transactions.

Mr. Shuler is a member of the South Carolina Bar having been admitted to practice in November of 1992. He earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in 1992. Prior to law school, Mr. Shuler was a Captain in the United States Air Force serving as a Combat Crew Flight Commander for Minute Man II ICBM’s. While in the Air Force, Mr. Shuler earned a Masters of Science Administration in 1990. He is a 1985 graduate of The Citadel, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

Mr. Shuler is actively involved in the Sumter community, having served as the Chairman of the Governmental Affairs Community for the Chamber of Commerce, President of the Sertoma Civic Club, Chairman of the United Way for Sumter, Clarendon and Lee Counties, Chairman of the Sumter Housing Authority as well as serving on several committees within his church. He is married and has three daughters.
